Hello Friend!
Our ministry, Tavriski Christian Institute (TCI), is a movement of Ukrainian and Asian followers of Jesus committed to equipping leaders and proclaiming the Gospel across Ukraine, Central Asia, South Caucasus and beyond.
We are called to train and empower pastors, church planters, chaplains, and ministry workers through our theological programs, discipleship initiatives, and practical ministry training. Through our Bible college, humanitarian outreach, and regional partnerships, we prepare believers to bring hope, healing, and transformation to communities impacted by war, poverty, and spiritual need.
Rooted in faith and resilient through crisis, TCI serves as a hub for gospel-centered leadership development across the former Soviet Union.

Ministry in Ukraine – PROGRAMS AND ACCREDITATION (+ VIDEO)
TCI is the first and only evangelical Christian school in Ukraine with full state accreditation to award bachelor’s and master’s degrees in theology and ministry. Its accredited programs are recognized by Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and provide a legal and professional foundation for graduates to serve in both church and public contexts.
Current academic offerings include:
- Bachelor of Theology
- Master of Theology with a specialization in Chaplaincy and Conflict Resolution (launched in 2025)
- Diploma and Certificate Programs in Christian Leadership, Biblical Studies, and Children’s Ministry
TCI serves a diverse student body all over Ukraine. Courses are available in Ukrainian with both in-person and online formats that provide flexibility for students in war zones or living abroad.
MINISTRY IMPACT IN NUMBERS
- 1,000+ graduates since 1997, serving as pastors, chaplains, missionaries, theologians, youth leaders, and humanitarian workers
- Over 100 students enrolled annually across degree and certificate programs
- 90% of current students serve as church leaders or are involved in faith-based organizations while studying
- Only school in the country where evangelical military chaplains are trained through TCI’s special classes and degree programs
- Over 1,000 youth hear Gospel through summer camps and other events run by TCI student ministry initiatives each year

Since the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022, TCI has adapted rapidly to meet the needs of the Church during crisis:
- Launched a new regional campus and ministry center in Kyiv to serve displaced students, faculty and church leaders
- Mobilized students and alumni to provide humanitarian aid, trauma counseling, refugee care, and crisis chaplaincy in the most war-affected regions
- Equipped 100+ church leaders with trained leaders to respond spiritually and practically to the war
- 187 tons of food delivered
- 100+ people evacuated

PUBLISHING, DIGITAL EDUCATION, AND RESOURCES (+VIDEO)
TCI is also a center for theological publishing, being the first institution to initiate the translation of a full systematic theology textbook series into Ukrainian. In partnership with Western institutions and donors, it continues to make high-quality resources available to pastors and students in their native languages.
